Sister Love

This post is for my sister which I miss every day. The little girl that made me laugh when we were together.
Here are some quotes I love and are dedicated to my miss little sunshine.

I smile because you are my sister, I laugh because there is nothing you can do about it!

It was nice growing up with someone like you - someone to lean on, someone to count on... someone to tell on!
-- Author Unknown

She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway. She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows when you are smiling, even in the dark. She is your teacher, your defense attorney, your personal press agent, even your shrink. Some days, she's the reason you wish you were an only child.
-- Barbara Alpert

My sister taught me everything I really need to know, and she was only in sixth grade at the time.
-- Linda Sunshine

Bless you, my darling, and remember you are always in the heart - oh tucked so close there is no chance of escape - of your sister.
-- Katherine Mansfield

A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.

Where is my real sky

Spending time with him...

"Wait for the boy who pursues you, the one who will make an ordinary moment seem magical, the kind of boy who brings out the best in you and makes you want to be a better person. Wait for the boy who will be your best friend, the only person who will drop everything to be with you at anytime no matter what the circumstances. Wait for the boy who makes you smile like no one else and when he smiles you know he needs you. Wait for the boy who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats & have no makeup on, but appreciates it when you get dolled up for him, and most of all, wait for the boy who will put you at the center of his universe because that's where you belong..."

Spend time so much time with my little girl, my little sister...
She is little bit of childhood that can never be lost. She is my special kind of double.

And not to forget...

Always remember...

This leap ahead

"When nothing else subsists from the past, after the people are dead, after the things are broken and scattered· the smell and taste of things remain poised a long time, like souls· bearing resiliently, on tiny and almost impalpable drops of their essence, the immense edifice of memory" -Marcel Proust "The Remembrance of Things Past"

Evoking powerful memories. For some it is pictures, or sounds, or smells. For me it is a combination of all those things. We all have something that triggers the snapshots that exist in our head. Moments in time that we may love.
"What seems to happen is that a piece of familiar music serves as a soundtrack for a mental movie that starts playing in our head."

I heard this song yesterday and it took me back when I was so excited of this new love I was feeling, like a child that is having her first platonic love, all the rush of blood in your heart, all the emotion of seeing that person once again. That man made me mad in love. <3

So here is the song that was part of the soundtrack of those days, we'll New Order was the soundtrack of those days.
Who is this man
that follows me
this blue eyed boy
who wants to be
This worthy cause
of human kind
this pawn set up by time
Like a bright light on the horizon
shining so bright, he'll get you flying
he'll drive you away, he'll drive you insane
but then he'll remove all of your pain
Like a bright light on the horizon
shining so bright, he'll get you flying
he'll get you flying, he'll get you flying
he'll get you flying, flying, flying
This open book
yet to be read
this second look
this leap ahead
The hope i held inside
with you, was kept alive
Like a bright light on the horizon
shining so bright, he'll get you flying
he'll drive you away, he'll drive you insane
but then he'll remove all of your pain
Like a bright light on the horizon
shining so bright, he'll get you flying
he'll get you flying, he'll get you flying
he'll get you flying, flying, flying
We're here to stay
we're here to stay

"You’re in a car with a beautiful boy, and he won’t tell you that he loves you, but he loves you. And you feel like you’ve done something terrible, like robbed a liquor store, or swallowed pills, or shoveled yourself a grave in the dirt, and you’re tired. You’re in a car with a beautiful boy, and you’re trying not to tell him that you love him, and you’re trying to choke down the feeling, and you’re trembling, but he reaches over and he touches you, like a prayer for which no words exist, and you feel your heart taking root in your body, like you’ve discovered something you didn’t even have a name for."

Learning about the hardest things

Today I can say "How I love all of the very simple things of life (God's good air)" - Morrisey

Such a little thing she was such a little thing but the difference she made was grave, a gentle tone of kindness.

Farewell is the most difficult thing I'm learning this days...I still miss her, but I have to let go, I have to move on, she is the memory of so many beautiful moments in my life, she was there always...So today I'm learning to grow up a little bit more, to appreciate more life, to cherish every single day, every single person, time won't come back, my everyday is fading away each second. I'm a very lucky girl surrounded by amazing people with loving hearts and I don't regret anything at all. I had her for 14 years and she had the best years of my life and she shared with me her unconditional love I admire so much. Chandri I'll see you in another life...

So hopefully one of this days I may sing the song that has been in my mind this days:
It's Okay,
I don't even cry
all I think about is a memory
Long way round, don't care what I find
A little thunder's good, I thought maybe you would
but it's okay, we all feel left out
sometimes growing up, it can get you down...
I'll never tell you, but you're my little scar
Goodbyes are hard and they're hard and they're hard

About Love

We had a lot going for us. We'd found the secret glue that held all things together. In a perfect place, where the noise did not intrude, our world was so very complete.

Once upon a time, there was a Candy and Dan... Things were very hot that year... All the wax was melting on the trees... He would crawl on balconies, climb everywhere. Do anything for her... My Danny boy. Thousands of birds. The tiniest birds adorned her hair... Everything was golden... One night the bed caught fire... He was handsome, and a very good criminal... We lived on sunlight and chocolate bars... It was the afternoon of extravagant delight... Danny, the Daredevil... Candy the blessing... The day's last rays of sunshine cruise like sharks..."I wanna try it your way this time!"You came into my life really fast, and I liked it. We squelched in the mud of our joy. I was wet thighed with the surrender... Then there was a gap in things... And the whole earth tilted... This is the business. This is what we're after. With you inside me... Comes the night...
